Description

One of the new generation 600 series helmets by Weldclass, the Promax 680 Welding Helmet has more features that you can poke a MIG, TIG or Stick at.

This helmet is suitable for MIG welding, Stick welding, TIG welding down to 5 amps, Grinding, Plasma Cutting, Oxy Cutting, Brazing, Heating and Gouging.

Key features:
• Enormous 95cm2 viewing area
• 'Landscape' format (116mm wide x 82mm high) window/screen for wider & more natural field of view
• Ultra-Crisp V1 (1/1/1/1) rated optics with enhanced colour recognition
• Illuminated digital LCD display/controls for superior visibility (auto dims when adjustments are not being made)
• Advanced digital controls with memory, cut mode, gradient & other functions
• External controls for shade adjustment & all modes: allows for instant & easy adjustment without removing or lifting helmet
• Auto Controls: Option of Manual (user adjusts), or Auto shade / Sensitivity / Delay adjustment (helmets adjusts settings automatically depending on arc intensity)
• Super-comfortable, wrap-a-round headgear with moulded rear pressure pad
• Light weight (620g), up to 10% lighter than other digital wide-view helmets
• 7-year Warranty*

Functions:
• Shade adjustment: Auto (shade level adjusts automatically depending on arc intensity) or Manual (user adjusts), adjust in increments of +/- 0.5 via external or internal controls
• Shade Deviation: When using Auto shade, +/- deviation (fine adjustment) can be adjusted in 0.1 increments to up +2.0/-2.0
• Welding mode: Variable shade 9-14
• Cut mode: Variable shade 4-8
• Grind mode: Locks lens to light mode (shade 3), activate on/off via external button or internal controls
• Shade Lock: Switches off auto-darkening function & locks lens to a selected shade level (4-13), ideal for oxy cutting & similiar processes where conditions may not be ideal for normal auto-darkening function
• Memory: Save up to 9 favourite settings (recalls shade, sensitivity & delay settings), with ‘instant save’ function on external controls
• Delay (switching time from dark back to light after welding stops): Auto or Manual 0.1-1.0s
• Gradient Mode: Gradual return (slope down) from dark to light, mirrors cooling of the weld pool to reduce eye strain
• Sensitivity: Auto or Manual 0-9 settings
• Tack Mode: Returns to shade 5 (inead of shade 3) between welds to reduce fatigue

Other features:
• High-Impact tested and compliant to Australian standard AS/NZS 1337.1
• Auto-darkening lens complies with AS/NZS 1338.1
• Easy cover lens replacement
• Magnification lens holder - takes standard magnification lenses
• Reliable Power Source: Replaceable battery plus solar assist, efficient electronics for low power consumption
• Full-Laminate Lens Construction: Each layer in the electronic lens assembly is firmly laminated for superior optical quality and long service life. This is in contrast to cheaper lenses which are simply glued on the edge and, over time, are prone to contamination and failure.
• Lightweight, Durable and Shock Resistant shell
• Auto-on & Auto-off = No buttons to press, Hassle-Free operation
• Weight: 620g
